The Relationship Between Organizational Justice and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour: Psychological Capital as a Mediator

Previous research has indicated that organizational justice perceptions can reinforce Organizational Citizenship Behaviors (OCBs). However, little attention been paid to the role of facets and their unique contribution OCBs. Furthermore, mechanisms potentially explain this relationship are unclear. The first aim study was investigate between multifocal (i.e., distributive, procedural, interactional) OCB levels focusing on interpersonally focused (OCBI) organizationally (OCBO). Second, examined whether psychological capital mediates justice-OCB relationship. Employees working in an Iranian oil company (n = 200) were analyzed through structural equation modeling. results demonstrated from justice, interactional positively associated with (OCBI). Moreover, mediated procedural citizenship behaviors at both levels. suggest increasing among employees is not only a social interaction phenomenon but also includes employees’ instinct motivation aspects. Therefore, granting enough authority control over jobs communicating them based appreciation will create better circumstances exhibit prosocial behavior.
